Canadian Eyesight Global is a registered charity based in Surrey, BC. Surgeons, doctors, Rotary clubs and volunteers give their time so that people who cannot afford an eye exam can still have one, and get medication, glasses or surgery if they need it.

Poor nutrition, poor sanitation and injuries cost people their sight, and so do cataracts and infections that nobody treated in time. Around the world, four out of five cases of visual impairment can be prevented, treated or cured.
We hold free screening camps, find the medical problems, hand out medication and corrective eyewear, and arrange surgery for people who need it. We have done it in hundreds of communities in rural India, and we have run free eye clinics in British Columbia for years.
A few markers from three decades of volunteer work, from the records we have kept.
